Scratching is a process of impact surface treatment. It consists in projecting microbeads (usually glass) on a surface, in order to strip it without damaging it. The resulting surface is glossy satin.

The microblasting is used for cleaning, stripping mechanical parts of all materials, or for aesthetic finishing on stainless steel or non-ferrous metals such as aluminum.

The applications of microbill are numerous and varied. The microbillage is very close to sanding and is done with the same machines.
